The game mixes the Puzzle-Platform, Metroidvania and Side-scroll elements developed by Moon Studios GmbH and published by Microsoft Studios. It takes you on a thrilling, atmospheric adventure, where you takes on the role of Ori, a white guardian spirits, and Sein, the spirit tree of the forest. The player is tasked to explore the environment and move between platforms to solve the puzzles to progress through the game. The game brings a system known as Soul Links, enabling the player to rescue at will and an upgrade system that offers the player the ability to improve the skills of the character.
