Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul is a Role-playing, Turn-based Strategy, and Collectible Card video game developed and published by Konami for Game Boy Advance. The game comes with a beautiful cast of anime and manage characters and takes place in the fascinating world where the player assumes the role of the young boy, who is destined to be the brilliant duelist of all the time. The player starts his adventure with one of three starter card decks and advances through the game to challenge a battle against other duelists in five different levels. There are a variety of cards, and each card offers a powerful monster which has its unique strength, weakness and statistics. The player can use the monster in the battle against an opponent in the turn-based battle. The game keeps track of the time the player has taken to defeat the opponent and the performance of him. The game offers the mix of Strategy, Collectible Card, and Tactics elements to offer the challenging gameplay. It takes place in the board consisting of a series of duels, played with cards. The game is divided into a campaign mode, in which the player must struggle to conquer all the levels of the Monster Coliseum. It has several modes such as Free Battle Mode, a Campaign mode, and a Versus mode. In the Free Battle mode, the player plays skirmish matches against the number of enemies defeated in the campaign while in versus mode, the player must attempt to defeat the human opponent. Before starting the game, the player needs to select a symbol, assign parameters and buy a starter kit card deck.
