The game is about card battling, and it offers exciting gameplay without included extra genres such as Adventure or Role-playing elements. It acts as the part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! video game series and comes with improved gameplay, enhanced graphics, and more. The player starts the game by creating a deck of forty powerful cards, and the player doesn’t need to win any battle to get new cards and improve his deck. The battles of the game are set up as either a match battle or a single battle. The match battles in the game take a long time to win while in the Single battle, the player either win or lose once and then the player can play another one if he desires. The player can use the side deck to trade cards in and out of his deck to improve his created deck. The game takes place on a 7×7 table, and the player starts the game by creating his deck of cards and then jump into the competition with the aim to take down the rival players. The player aims to gather as many points as possible by defeating enemies and using the points to unlock powerful cards. Up to forty cards are needed to duel and each card has a deck cost which is a value offered to a card based on its strength. The game is loosely based on the real-world Wars of the Roses, a series of a conflict fought between the House of York and the House of Lancaster over the control of England in the fifteenth century. The game revolves around turn-based gameplay, in which the player must deploy his card on the board against his opponent to attack. There are three different terrains such as Crush, Labyrinth, and ATK. With immersive gameplay, superb mechanics, and cool graphics, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses is a good game to play.
