According to the story, the antagonist who is an evil named as Magikoopa Kamek has turn almost all Yoshi into waves of yarn for his evil master named Baby Bowser, spreading them around different lands. Two Yoshi manage to escape and avoid being turned themselves into yarn, and they set out on an epic quest to save the wooly friends by defeating the evil.
