Xybots
Xybots is a Single-player and Co-op Third-person Shooter video game developed and published by Atari Games. The game enables two players to control Captain Ace Gunn and Major Rock Hardy and set out them on a mission to travel through the 3D maze-type environment, and battle against waves of robots called the Xybots. According to the story, bad robots plan to destroy all humanity. It introduces split-screen mode, displaying the gameplay on the bottom half of the screen and show the player status and level on the top half. During the gameplay, up to two players attempt to explore the world through corridors, fighting against enemies using a laser gun, finding cover from enemy fire behind different objects. The main job of players is to reach the exit of each level. In specific levels, players will face off a massive boss.
