Xsyon is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing and Sandbox video game created and published by Notorious Games. It takes place in an apocalyptic fantasy-themed environment, modelled on the real world section of Lake Tahoe which spans the Nevada and California border. The game introduces the player-driven economy and player-created questing system. It has both battle areas such as PvE (Player vs Environment) and PvP (Player versus Player). The environment of the game is set near the future, where the player starts by selecting the character from available and jumping into the game to take down rivals. During the gameplay, the player will encounter several players from around the globe and can battle against them in PvP to show off his abilities, skills, and powers. In PvE mode, the player can set out on an adventure to fight against enemies and take down them to earn experience points which can be used to unlock further content. During the gameplay, the player can purchase new ships, build his crew, hire workers and officers who will follow the player on his quests and assist him in battles. The environment of the game takes place both on land and at sea and enables the player to customize and upgrade his character by collecting skill points and unlock new abilities. The player explores the land from a third-person perspective and can battle against enemies using a variety of weapons to earn points.
