XCOM
XCOM is a Series Multi-genre video games and offers a versatility throughout the series. Strategy, RTS, turn-based tactics, Real-time Tactics, Simulations, Construction and Management, Military and War gaming, Space Flight, FPS, Third-person Shooting, Action, RPG, etc. are all the genres in which XCom offers games. XCom series was originally started back in 1994 by a company known as MicroProse. MicroProse published in total six games with two of them cancelled. The series rocked the markets but soon it lost the business until the series was rebooted in 2005 by 2K Games. The Series once again started with a mega hit XCOM: Enemy Unknown and broke all the previous records. With critically acclaim and commercial success, the company launched an Expansion pack named as XCOM: Enemy Within, back in 2013 and another title XCOM 2 in 2016. From the very beginning to the latest release of the series, XCOM has maintained the standard and the quality of content and is one of the most favorite series of games throughout the world. #1 XCOM 2: War of the Chosen
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen is a Downloadable Content Pack for the XCOM 2 and focuses on Turn-based Tactics gameplay published by 2K Games and developed by Firaxis Games. The game supports both Single-player and Multiplayer modes and available to play on cross-platform. The DLC pack changes the campaign structure and brings new hero characters, new enemies, modifiers and more. It includes a new set of aliens called the Chosen, a set of three warriors tasked to defeat the XCOM and capture the commander by the Elders such as the Hunter, the Assassin, and the Warlock each with its unique skills and abilities. The Assassin uses the stealth element and is able to abduct the soldiers of the player directly from the playfield, the Warlock uses the psionic powers and can summon enemies during the fight and the Hunter can use long-range rifles to kill his targets. As the storyline progresses, the Chosen get access to new abilities over time and become able to release an attack on the Avengers. The game is set in a Sci-Fi environment of Halo Universe and takes the players to the futuristic world of 2525. The game kicks off with a huge attack by the Covenant, an advanced Alien race on humans and declaring them as the Forerunners. Humans have no other choice to start a mega oppressive against the enemies and that’s when the players get into the play. The game allows te player to be the protagonist named as Captain James Cutter and go investigate about the Covenant Activity on a Planet named as Harvest. During the investigation, Cutter finds out that the Covenant has set a mining post on the Northren Pole of the planet and they have discovered a Forerunner facility. The primary objective of the game is to repel the Covenant from the Facility and take control, defeat the enemies and save the Human Colony of Arcadia. After that the game offers more missions against the Covenant and allows the players to act according to the storyline and enjoy the game.
