WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game is a Sports, Professional Wrestling, Arcade, Single-player and Two-player Fighting video game developed and published by Midways. The gameplay is based on the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) professional wrestling promotion. The game comes with digitalized representations of eight wrestlers who are competing against each other in the fast-paced fighting matches heavily inspired by NBA Jam and Mortal Kombat games by Midway. Both Jerry Lawler and Vince McMahon are selected for the commentary section, and they are also appeared in the game sitting at the table of the announcers. The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, etc. are prominent wrestlers in the game from which the player can select his favourite one to jump into the ring against other opponents. The game has two modes such as One-one-One matches (support Two-player), head to hear, or cooperative where two players can join each other to form a team and take part in the fight against another group of two-player. It is the fourth title in the series of Punch-Out!! and revolves around the main character named as Mac, who are struggling to become the champion of World Video Boxing Association. The player take on the protagonist’s role and his ultimate task is to fight his way and try to knock out his opponent in the match of three minutes. The player can hooks, jabs, dodge and block opponent’s attack. The game lets the player become a boxer and show off his abilities by taking down his competitors. It is played from a third-person perspective and the player can use multiple actions to beat his opponent. There are several stages available and the player must face off different competitor in each stage. The player will learn new abilities as the game progresses.
