Wrecking Crew ’98 is an Action, Puzzle, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Nintendo R&D1. In the game, the player controls one two characters such as Mario or Luigi, and struggle to destroy all the specific set of objects using a massive hammer on each of 100 challenging levels. During the gameplay, Mario can’t make a jump because of the hammer which is heavy in weight. During the gameplay, the player can choose any stage to start playing the game and each level is set on the playfield split into an invisible grid. However, each space of which comprise one object. In the game, the objects offer destructible walls, ladders, pillars, barriers, and more to smash all destructible objects and enemies that Mario avoids. The player explores the level from a side-view and can climb ladder to reach the upper platform to complete the tasks. A new character has been introduced named Spike who chases Mario to disrupt him by knocking down objects and more.
