World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko: The Last Hope
World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko: The Last Hope is an RPG, Casual, and Single-player video game developed by Chunsoft. It is the second game in the Mystery Dungeon series and offers similar gameplay to the original one. Throughout time, the player assumes the role of a protagonist named Torneko, who has to explore the items’ mazes.
The player controls the character from an overhead perspective that is convenient to beware of the dangers. The character can attack with close-ranged weapons like swords and long-ranged weapons like bow and arrow. The player can summon magic spells using a wand or scroll. Identical to the first one, Torneko also has a hunger meter, which decreases health if he does not eat bread.
During the exploration, the player can discover treasure and magic items that offer upgrades. The player has to engage in turn-based combats where the ruthless monsters make the player’s life hard. The game’s core features are Overhead Angle, Turn-based Battles, Simple Missions, Numerous Weapons, 2D Graphics, and Treasure Boxes.
#1 Baroque
Baroque is a Rogue-like, Role-playing, and Single-player video game developed by Sting Entertainment and published by Atlus USA. The objective of the game is to command the nameless character through the Neuro Tower to the 1st floor. The game takes place in the procedurally generated land, where the majority of the layouts of the floors of the tower change each time the player ventures inside. The player starts the game outside of the tower with no items or points. Before getting into the tower, the player is presented with an Angelic Rifle, the modern weapon that the player uses to take down the massive monster with a single shot. During the gameplay, the player can find swords, items, and equipment scattered across the tower at random and by taking down enemies grants the player experience points. The player uses the experience to gain new levels and become powerful. Baroque includes prominent features such as Treasure Chests, Levelling System, Experience Points, and more. Check it out, and have fun.
