The game takes place in the stunning environment, and it features twelve countries from which the player has to select his favourite one and jump into the match to battle his way through a variety of matches to become the top of the Volleyball ranks in Women’s Volleyball Championship. In the game, the player controls a team of six characters, three of which are standing near the net while other three characters are standing back. At the start, the player serves the ball to start the match between two teams, one controlled by the player while another is either controlled by AI in Single-player or another player in Multiplayer mode. The goal is to score the points by landing the ball on the ground of opposing team’s side. The team with the maximum points will win the match and select for the next round against more powerful team. The game was released under two different titles for two consoles such as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PS4. The game is played from a third-person perspective and retain the camera mode from the previous installment of the series. New game modes are introduced, including butt battle and beach volleyball. The game enables the player to choose his playable character from available and jump into the environment to compete against another team of two characters. The player needs to core the high points compared to opposing team to win and unlock further content using these points. Marie Rose, Honoka, Kasumi, Ayane, Kokoro, etc. are prominent characters of the game to select and play.
