According to the storyline, the protagonist is captured at this grave site and taken into custody for interrogation. During the same time, the protagonist recalls the past events that are played as numerous missions. The first flashback mission in the game takes place in Colombia back in the 1990s, at this time the protagonist is a member of Navy SEALs. He serves his duty as the soldier and his commanding officer with the name Douglas Shetland has been arrested by FRC guerrillas. The player performs a solo rescue mission of the command, by going against the order of his commanding officer.
