Wipeout Pulse is a Racing, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by SCE Studio Liverpool and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation Portable. The game takes place in the futuristic setting and it serves as the seventh main title in the series of Wipeout video games, acting as the sequel to Wipeout Pure. However, it is set in the year 2007 and the story follow players battling against each other in the FX400 anti-gravity racing league. There are over sixteen licensed music tracks available from techno artists and the game lets the player to navigate the futuristic environment, one year after the events of Wipeout Pure. Like its predecessor, the game centers on players who must compete for a title of champion. During the gameplay, the player can pilot anti-gravity ships with a task of reaching the end of each track. There are over eight challenging teams available and each has its unique ship, although the player will has an ability to modify the appearance of his ship. In the game, each ship has its unique characteristics, depending on the selected team.
