Wipeout 2048 is a Futuristic Racing, Third-person Perspective, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Sony Studio Liverpool and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game takes place in the futuristic environment, and it serves as the 9th title in the series of Wipeout. The player pilots an anti-gravity ship around the futuristic tracks filled with obstacles, hurdles, and challenges. The player can explore the land from a third-person perspective through a series of scenarios, took place in the year 2048. There are four different types of ships such as Fighters, Agility Ships, Speed Ships, and Prototype. The ultimate task of the player is to reach the end of each track while struggling to eliminate the opponents using a variety of weapons that the player can pick up while racing. In Single-player mode, the player can race against AI-controlled vehicles while in Multiplayer mode, the player can go against his friends and other players. It has multiple modes such as Tournaments, One-on-One Races, Speed Labs, Zone Mode and more.
