The game is played from a first-person perspective and the game mix the survival, role-playing and rogue-like elements. The game offers the creative storyline with strong narratives, and the game introduces three playable characters each with a unique story to explore. The player acts from a first-person viewpoint and can start the game with an interactive prologue upon choosing the character, enabling him to go through the challenging events that occurred after his character fends off taking Joy. As the storyline advances, the player discovers that his brother has gone missing on a mountain after being sent by Edward Bennett to retrieve the Terma, the magical artifact, recently revealed to be the mountain’s top. The combat system of the game comprises encounters with angry souls of climbers and monks who are stuck in Bardo, the spiritual realm. In the game, the player needs to stun foes and make gestures using the Nintendo Wii Remote to free the souls.
