WCW vs the World is a Single-player and Multiplayer Fighting video game developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment and published by THQ for PlayStation. The game lets the player become a wrestler and use special moves of his selected fighter to beat the opponent. It introduces several modes such as Exhibition, best of Seven, League Challenge, Double, Tournament, etc. and each mode offers its unique gameplay and a set of objectives. It has several other establishing features that would improve and carry in future AKI wrestling games. The game features a spirit meter which replaces the traditional but linear energy bar. At the start, the player has to select his character from available and then jump into the ring to show off his power, skills, and special moves in order to defeat the opponent. The game uses the 3D graphics to represent the player and the environment. Both characters have their health gauge which depleted upon receiving an attack. WCW vs the World is a superb fighting game for those who love playing wrestling games.

The game acts as the 19th title in the series of WWE and serves as the follow up to WWE 2K17. Like its predecessors, the game is a pure wrestling video game and for the first time since the title WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It, eight wrestlers can compete against each other simultaneously, instead of six. In the game, the Royal Rumble Match has been retooled, with improved mechanics and elimination sequences. The game introduces a new carry system, letting the player to pick up and drop his competitor and place him in the specific spot. Tons of new moves and animations have been introduced in the game to use. Road to Glory is a new mode in the game, which enables the player to use his MyPlayer character to qualify and compete in several events, similar to WWE SuperCard. With customization feature, fighting gameplay and new modes, WWE 2K18 is the best game to play as compared to other wrestling games.
