Warlords Battlecry III is a 2004 Real-time Strategy (RTS), Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by Infinite Interactive and published by Enlight Software for Microsoft Windows. The game is the 3rd installment in the series of Warlords Battlecry, serving as the sequel to Warlords Battlecry II. It mainly revolves around the RTS gameplay, but the game has some RPG elements in that the player can accomplish optional quests and also can create a customized character that can level up from fight to fight and arm unique and powerful items. The campaign of the game is the combination of a top-down strategic map with RTS gameplay elements. The world where the game takes place divides into numerous locations that the player can visit with different events at each. This title has more factions and hero classic than the previous titles in the series, with over sixteen races and twenty-eight different hero classes. In the game, heroes have teams of loyal soldiers known as retinues, which follows and battle for them in the fight, and level up to cap for units.
