War of Legends
War of Legends developed back in 2010 is one of the most popular and well liked MMORTS (Massively Multiplayer Online – Real Time Strategy) video game. Published by Jagex Games Studios, War of Legends is set in a world built on ancient Chinese Mythologies. Until January 29, 2015, War of Legends remained the most successful MMORTS game but because of some serious security issues, Jagex announced the permanent closure to all of its services related to the game. War of Legends was shut down immediately after Jagex’ announcement, but there are ways to get the game online and enjoy the most epic creation ever. War of Legends allowed the players to be “Legends,” control whole Kingdoms and develop them using all the available Construction, development and Upgradation options. Recruiting armies, building research facilities and trade were the key elements in the game including various task completion, resource collection and trade elements. Command and Conquer is the very first game in the series and a Real-Time Strategy, War based MMO video game developed by Westwood Studios. The game is set in an alternate reality that focuses on modern day events. As the story describes, the game is basically about a world war between two massive and global factions Global Defense Initiative and a Militant Cult known as Brotherhood of Nod. The war is over the possession of a rare and mysterious element known as Tiberium which is slowly spreading across the world and is a great source of power. Supreme Commander or popularly known as SupCom is a wonderful Real-Time Strategy and MMO video game by Gas Powered Games. The game allows you to Pilot giant Mechs named as Armored Command Units (ACUs) and lets you build your own Base, build more Mech units like the one you are piloting, use sophisticated technologies to upgrade your mech units, wage wars against the enemies and conquer their outposts. You can select anyone of the three main factions, go hunting on the enemies and eventually expand your mechanical reign. With a number of fantastic Single and Multiplayer Campaign, missions and side missions for you to engage yourself in and enjoy a brilliant experience. Supreme Commander is the predecessor to 1997’s “Total Annihilation” if you consider it to and it offers almost similar game-play and mechanics and allows yo to have a totally unique MMO-RTS experience. With a futuristic game setting, beautifuly created 3D visuals and all the thrilling Campaigns in the game, Supreme Commander is one of the best games of this specific genre.
