War of Legends
War of Legends developed back in 2010 is one of the most popular and well liked MMORTS (Massively Multiplayer Online – Real Time Strategy) video game. Published by Jagex Games Studios, War of Legends is set in a world built on ancient Chinese Mythologies. Until January 29, 2015, War of Legends remained the most successful MMORTS game but because of some serious security issues, Jagex announced the permanent closure to all of its services related to the game. War of Legends was shut down immediately after Jagex’ announcement, but there are ways to get the game online and enjoy the most epic creation ever. War of Legends allowed the players to be “Legends,” control whole Kingdoms and develop them using all the available Construction, development and Upgradation options. Recruiting armies, building research facilities and trade were the key elements in the game including various task completion, resource collection and trade elements. War of Legends offered multi-gender options, loads of fantastic characters, modification options, exploration, NPCs, amazing quests, and adventures, etc. With a remarkably brilliant game world, all the great alliances, online multiplayer gameplay, beautiful visuals and loads of other great things, War of Legends won game of the month award (MPOGD) and remained one of the most famous MMORTS game among the players globally.

Dwarf Fortress is an Open Ended RTS, Roguelike, Construction, management and City-Building video game. The game is set up in a procedurally generated game world in which you control two different groups of dwarfs. Your objective is to make the two dwarf groups work and build an underground fortress and all the buildings required. The open world is full of continents, oceans, and beastly civilizations and allows you to gather up resources by fighting and defeating your enemies. Text based game interface, Turn-Based Strategy and Roguelike game elements make this game a bit different than others but quite addictive and engaging. Sid Meier’s Civilization V or shortly named as Civilization V is a wonderful 4X Turn-based MMO-RTS video game by Firaxis Games. The game is based on the player who leads a civilization from Primordial times to the future on a methodologically created map. The game lets you use your skills and experiences for the Research, Exploration, Diplomacy, Expansion of the lands, Economic and technological development, Governmental and Military Conquests etc. Civilization V inherits a lot of characteristics and mechanics from Civilization IV but a slight change is the absence of a lot of expansion packs. Unlike the previous versions of the game, Battle and combat characteristics are quite changed, Cities can now defend themselves by devastating the enemies situated nearby, and a lot of military restrictions are gone. Sid Meier’s Civilization V resembles Age of Mythologies a lot, story-line and game-play is quite overhauled and the game provides with Single and Multiplayer Campaigns so you can enjoy it more. Graphics are greatly enhanced as compared to the older versions of the game. With 2 expansion packs Civilization V: Gods and Kings and Civilization V: Brave New World, this game offers wonderful visuals, a brilliant game-play etc.
