Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 is a Single-player and Multiplayer Professional Wrestling video game with an emphasis on Sports, developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment. The game is the sequel to the original title Virtua Pro Wrestling released in 1996. It introduces professional wrestlers from WCW (World Championship Wrestling) but also features generic renditions of wrestlers from massive Japanese promotions. In the game, the player can select his favorite wrestler from available and jump into the ring to face off opponents in one-on-one matches. Each wrestler comes with a set of special moves, final attack, and unique playstyle. While in the ring, the player can use his punch and kicks to beat the opponent and attempt to deplete his health bar. The player will receive a championship belt upon taking down the rival player. The game acts as the 19th title in the series of WWE and serves as the follow up to WWE 2K17. Like its predecessors, the game is a pure wrestling video game and for the first time since the title WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It, eight wrestlers can compete against each other simultaneously, instead of six. In the game, the Royal Rumble Match has been retooled, with improved mechanics and elimination sequences. The game introduces a new carry system, letting the player to pick up and drop his competitor and place him in the specific spot. Tons of new moves and animations have been introduced in the game to use. Road to Glory is a new mode in the game, which enables the player to use his MyPlayer character to qualify and compete in several events, similar to WWE SuperCard. With customization feature, fighting gameplay and new modes, WWE 2K18 is the best game to play as compared to other wrestling games.
