Virtua Fighter is a 1993 Fighting, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Sega AM2 and published by Sega. The game acts as the first title in the series of Virtua Fighter game, and the first arcade fighting video game to be released with fully three-dimensional polygon graphics. The actions in the game take place in the 3D environment, and it puts the player in challenging matches to face eight brutal characters in pre-determined order, followed by the battle with the boss of the fight in Single-player mode. Each fight comprises three matches, and the player has three different ways to conquer the round such as knock out the opponent, having more health when time runs out or forcing the opponent out of the ring. Unlike other fighting games of the early 90s, it relies on the smooth controls consists of three buttons and a stick, which the player uses to control the movement of the character with a stick, and to punch, kick, and guard using the button combinations. With addictive gameplay, super graphics, and 3D environment, Virtua Fighter is one of the best fighting video games compared to early 90s fighting games.
