It serves as the second installment in the Unreal series and offers similar gameplay to the last release by introducing advanced weapons. Throughout the gameplay, the player needs to kill as many opponents as possible in the playfield to be the winner.
While inspecting the world, the player views the surroundings from a first-person perspective.
