Tyrian is a Single-player and Multiplayer Vertical-scrolling Shooting video game developed by Eclipse Software and published by Epic MegaGames. The game takes in the futuristic year 20,031, where the player controls a skilled pilot named Trent Hawkins. According to the plot, the player is employed to scout out the habitable worlds on newly terraformed planets. The latest assignment of the player is the planet Tyrian, which is situated near the territory of the Hazudra full of lizard-like race. The game features the arcade-style gameplay which is played from a vertical scroll. The goal of the player is to control a spaceship equipped with weapons and shoot his way through a set of levels to take down oncoming waves of enemies to make points. At the end of each level, the player will face off bosses, and after killing them, the player gets access to further levels. There are three difficulty levels such as Easy, Medium, and Hard.
