The game takes place in an open world environment and focuses on Los Angeles. The story of the game revolves around the protagonist named Nicholas Kang who is a police officer and his efforts to investigating a team of bombing in a fictional town called Chinatown. He comes to known about the disappearance of his father twenty years earlier as the protagonist progress into the case. The game casts the player in the role of the protagonist, who is a detective of the EOD (Elite Operations Division). The player can move freely without any restriction and can explore the game world either on foot or by vehicle. There are four different sorts of missions and each mission represents its unique set of gameplay such as Stealth, shooting, fighting and driving.
