The game allows the players to get into the role of “El Presidente.”, Rule over the Island in the Carribean Sea in the Era of Cold War. As the primary goal of the game is to stay always in Power, the players are required to keep the population of the Island Happy. If the Populace is unhappy with the El President’s actions, they may vote somebody else instead of the player. All the non-governmental powers and Factions can unsettle the Rule of El Presidente, so the player must keep all of these factors controlled. If there are Powers that get unhappy with El President’s rule, they will form an alliance and challenge the players so the players will need to keep them happy as well. As this game is all about Democracy and Foreign relations, diplomacy and Trade, the players must be good at every said aspect or else he/she can lose the title. Customizing the Island’s Map, political and economic relations, enemy intrusions and other governmental affairs are the most critical and challenging tasks to perform.
