The player must focus on overtaking the opponents and get to the finish line first before anyone does before the player. The game offers a total of 19 road races, eight mini-games, and five piston cup races for the player to experience. The player must compete five boss races to help Lightning McQueen kick the antagonist’s crew out of Radiator Springs.
The game also contains ten playable characters from the film and also has some items for the player to upgrade the car. In multiplayer mode, the player challenges the player and must use the best skills to beat them and dominate the leaderboard.
