All through the game, the player has to play the role of a leader who has to command a faction dominantly and strategically to claim victories. The game revolves around the six factions who fight against one another.
In solo mode, the player comes across AI warriors with varied difficulties, and the multiplayer mode offers the player to experience best commanders with realistic strategies from all over the world. Each clan has a unique set of traits, which gives it a distinctive play-style.
