Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six is a 1998 Tactical Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game published and developed by Red Storm Entertainment for multiple platforms. It is the first title in the series of Rainbow Six and focuses on tactics and stealth elements more than on exploring the fictional environment, and use weapons. In the game, the player assumes the protagonist’s role, who is a soldier and his primary task is to navigate the world to battle against terrorist and kill them to rescue the innocents. The game features a variety of challenging missions, and each mission has a set of objectives to accomplish. During the gameplay, the player will receive points for complete each objective and can use these points to unlock upgrades and more. There are advanced weapons available, and the player uses during the battle to take down terrorist and hostages. In the starts of each mission, the player is instructed the mission, and then allow him to select his playable characters to be involved in the tasks, select the weapons, and more. The player explores the environment from both First-person and the third-person perspective and can use the map to see his location. The game takes place in the sci-fi Universe, where the human race is battling against the alien race to take over resources and territory in massive and elaborate indoor facilities. It serves as the sequel to Natural Selection. Like its previous title, the game comes with two opposing teams of players such as Frontiersmen (Marine) and Kharaa (Aliens), searching to demolishing the bases of each other. Both teams have the same goals, and the gameplay for each team varies drastically. The game mixes the Survival and Action-packed elements and introduces a huge variety of weaponry which the players use during the gameplay to compete against opponent force and slay their members to earn points. The player can explore the world from a first-person perspective, takes on the role of the commander, and fulfil the missions while gathering resources, researching new technologies, and deploys abilities.
