Tiger Heli is a Vertical-scroll, Shoot ‘em up, and Single-player video game developed by Toaplan and published by Taito. The game also introduces Two-player mode, in which the player can invite his friend to play with him. It acts as a predecessor to Twin Cobra video game and puts the player in the role of the pilot who controls a helicopter from a top-down perspective. The story revolves around a vicious attack by enemies trying to take over the world. The waves of enemies include battleships, tanks, and artillery. Besides some planes taking off, no flying enemies remain in the entire game. The player helicopter is loaded with weapons which the player uses to take down enemies and can launch missiles to destroy the horde of enemies at once. Several challenging stages await the player, and the player must unleash his piloting skills to take down enemies and driven them out to restore the peace. Up to four stages will test the skills of the player one by one, and the player must pass each one to reach the end to face off a brutal boss, the king of all enemies.
