Your basic task is to survive in a world where almost everything is so rare. You’ll have to survive facing the worst shortage of food, medical supplies and under the heavy danger of snipers and hostile scavengers. As the game is set in a war torn world and it features day and night cycles as the main game-play times, you should avoid getting out of the shelter during the day because the snipers won’t let you out, but in night you must get out using your sneaky and stealth skills, accompany one of your trusted men and go out on scavenging missions for food and other supplies. Your main task is to stay alive, collect the items, return to your hideout, craft different items and trade them for different goods etc. Instead of going on missions to kill the enemies, This War of Mine tasks you to stay in your hideout, defend it against the enemies (Snipers and Scavengers) and save everybody around you by the use of different weapons, tactics and your skills.
