Slime Rancher is an Adventure, First-person Shooter, and Single-player Life Simulation created and published by Monomi Park. The game takes place in an open world played from a first-person perspective. You can assume the role of the protagonist, named as Beatrix LeBeau, who is a rancher and moves to a distant planet far from the Earth to experience the life of the Slime Rancher. In the game, your main objective is to explore the environment, collect, breed and feed slimes (living organisms of different sizes and abilities). The main gameplay centers on feeding slimes the food to produce plorts, which can use sold for Newbucks (the game’s currency). You as the protagonist can use the currency to purchase upgrades to farm building and equipment. You can move freely around different environments to gather slimes, resources, and foods by sucking them up with your vacuum tool called VacPack.
