Receiver is a First-person Perspective, and Single-player video game developed and published by Wolfire Games for Multiple Platforms. The game tries to portray the realistic gun mechanics through the use of unique reloading system, where the reloading’s each step is assigned a different button. In the game, the player scavenges audio tapes and items which uncover the storyline in the randomly generated environment. In the game, the player as the protagonist must search for eleven audio taps scattered around the randomly generated land. Flashlights and ammunition are scattered throughout the game environment to collect as well. The player starts the game with a handgun, either a Colt M1911A1 pistol, a Smith and Wesson Model 10 Revolver, or a Fire Glock 17 Pistol. The player has a random inventory of spare magazines and ammunition for his weapon, and the game starts with the player searching for audio tapes using the flashlight. The player will encounter sentry turrets and hover drones while navigating the environment that will attack the player to kill.
