The Thing is a Third-person Shooter, Survival Horror, and Single-player video game developed by Computer Artworks and published by Black Label Games for Multiple Platforms. The game sets as the sequel to the 1982 movie of the same name of John Carpenter, the plot revolves around the main character named Captain Blake, the member of the U.S. Special Forces team sent to the Antarctic outpost to find out what has happened to the research team. The basic gameplay in the game is that of the traditional TPS (Third-person Shooter), and the player commands the protagonist to run, jump, strafe, shoot, and interact with the environment and Non-player Characters his way through several levels to advance. During the game, the player can use different items like fire extinguishers, flashlights, or flares to fulfill the requirements of each mission. In the game, the player has an option to get into the First-person mode for more accurate targeting while battling against enemies.
