The Last Guardian
The Last Guardian is an Action-Adventure, Third-person Exploration, Open World and Single-player video game created by SIE Japan Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The story revolves around a boy, the protagonist, who befriends with a massive half-bird-half-mammal creature named as Trico. The game mixes the third-person, puzzle, and action-adventure elements like its predecessors Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. During the gameplay, the player assumes the role of the unnamed protagonist with a task to cooperate with Trico to solve complex puzzles and explore the massive areas. The player can carry different objects, climb on structures, run and jump his way through a variety of levels to fulfill the objectives. The size of Trico enables the player to reach the areas that the boy can’t reach alone, and can battle guards who are trying to capture the protagonist. There are certain obstacles like gates and glass eyes are available which prevent Trico from progresses, and the must be eliminated or removed by the player. With well-written story, detailed graphics, and prominent features, The Last Guardian is a fascinating video game to play and enjoy.

The game revolves around the character of a young Psych named Razputin who starts up his journey of becoming a Psychonaut. In order to achieve the goals, you’ll have to help Razputin break into the Psychonaut’s training center, make a place for yourself there, defeat the enigmatic villain who have kidnapped your fellow campers. It is now your duty to free your fellow campers by the use of your special abilities and psychic powers. You must focus on telekinesis, levitation and project yourself into the minds of the enemies, fight them off, sabotage their facilities and eventually free your friends. Psychonauts offers an amazingly twisted game-play, a great story to follow along with amazing visuals and a lot of other great things.

Portal, developed by Valve Corporation is a First person, Physics-based Puzzle-Platform video game. The game features the protagonist named Chell who solves puzzles by teleporting and getting help from the objects by using the special The Apurture Science Handheld Portal device. The device opens up two spatial portal on two different planes and the protagonist travels through these two portals and solves the puzzles, interacts with a number of items and crafts different things. The player character gets challenged by AI (Artificial Intelligence) who goes by the name of GlaDOS. Each time the player solves a puzzle, he gets a Cake as the reward that can be used to buy power-ups and upgrades. With it’s amazingly addictive and immersive nature, Portal offers beautiful visuals and sounds, an objective-based story and puzzles and a challenging game-play to enjoy.

Quantum Conundrum is a challenging First-person, Physics-based Puzzle-platform video game developed by Airtight Games and published by Square Enix for PC (Microsoft Windows), Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game features the protagonist as a boy who walks, runs, jumps and interacts with different objects to solve various physics based puzzles to make his way to the next level of the game. After manipulating the objects of the rooms, and solving enough puzzles, the protagonist reaches to the a door that leads to the finish line of the level and lets the player engage in the next puzzle. With all the wonderful scenarios and very good graphics, Quantum Conundrum is an interesting game to play and enjoy. You must try it out.
