Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a warrior, where the primary mission is to eliminate the monsters to restore peace. The game takes place in the gothic-noir land where monsters have attacked the realm.
The player, along with a partner, has to save the land by exploring a wide range of grim districts and different areas. The game comes up with three episodes in a continuous story and six different classes with different abilities. A vast collection of missions is there for the player to complete, and progression is possible as the player finishes them off.
The monsters invade with axes and swords where the player must defend their attacks to survive. The game offers Rage points to the player, and he can charge up to three power-ups by using these points.
