The House of the Dead 2 is a Horror, First-person Rail Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game with an emphasis on Light Gun Shooter element, developed by Wow Entertainment. The game takes place in the horror-themed world, and it acts as the 2nd marvelous title in the series of The House of the Dead. This title also appears in the compilation The House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return for Nintendo Wii. The game revolves around the fictional events after the Curien Mansion incident. There is an auto-reload feature that enables the player to point their weapons off-screen to reload their guns without pulling the trigger. It mixes the branching path system that allows players to take a set of routes leading to the same point in the storyline of the game. The player navigates the environment from a first-person perspective with an aim to take down monsters for points. The difficulty level will be increased as the player advances through the story. The world where the game is set populated with blood-thirsty zombies, looking for the player to kill.

The game supports Single-player, and the story centers on an unnamed Marine who is dropped onto a tropical Island on a secret task to fend off the evil Dr. Hellman. The antagonist plans out to launch his army of zombies to take over the world. The antagonist Hellman held four other Marines and transformed into zombies. It offers the similar gameplay to Lethal Enforcers, and the game puts you in the role of the protagonist, and your main aim is to explore the world, fight against zombies and kill those using weapons, fend off the antagonist and rescue your members. You must navigate the jungle, gathering ammunition and maintain and recover your health. There are a variety of levels and centers on three difficult settings such as Easy, Medium and Hard. With prominent features, horror gameplay, smooth controls, and the superb world, Corpse Killer is the fantastic world to play and enjoy.
