The Hidden: Source is an Adventure, RPG, Shooter, and Single-player video game. Throughout the game, the player serves as a member of an intercept squad where the main mission is to confront before hidden enemies. The game has offered many weapons where the player can gain access to this weaponry through progression.
The game has nine characters where every character is distinct. The player can choose a class out of two classes such as Assault and Support. Support is a superclass that can replenish teammates’ ammo, whereas Assault class has other special skills. The player can take the main weapon, a sidearm, and an item with him in the field. The game has many different rounds where every round selects a player by default.
Other players play as the IRIS, whose goal is to hunt down the hidden players by working as a team. After the time limit goes up, the round will end, and a new hidden will appear. The game has core features such as Ammo, Weapons, Hidden Treasures, and Multiplayer Mode.

The inventory system features a grid system that contains each item up to a certain number of spaces. The player can upgrade the cases several times that makes more space. The player can buy items and sell them to a merchant that appears in various locations. The player can trade for first aid sprays, weapons, and various treasures that he finds.
The game has an arsenal of weapons where each weapon has unique advantages and disadvantages. Unlike previous games, the player can shoot the enemies at any place, such as on the feet to stumble them, and shot on the arms will let them drop their weapons.
