The game takes place in the open world environment similar to GTA and puts the player in charge of the protagonist who can move freely all over the world without any limitation. Gangland movies like Snatch profoundly inspire the gameplay and Get Carter. It mainly focuses on two characters and each has its unique plot setting. The storyline of both characters such as former robber and a police officer, running parallel and intersecting before ending in the final. The game is presented in a third-person sandbox style gameplay, in which the player commands the team character as they carry out their challenging missions for progression. It introduces several licensed vehicles from different manufacturers that the player can control, unlike those discovered in GTA which are fictional. With immersive gameplay, superb storyline, and cool visuals, The Getaway is a beautiful game to play.
