The game is played from a first-person perspective and it serves as the prequel to the futuristic sci-fi movie The Chronicles of Riddick. The game focuses on the main protagonist named as Riddick, an anti-hero struggles to escape from the highly security prison known as Butcher Bay. It incorporates elements from game genres such as Stealth, FPS (First-person Shooter), and Adventure and mainly played from a First-person viewpoint, though the player can switch camera to a Third-person Perspective during specific scenes.
