Tetris Effect is a 2018 Tilt-Matching and Single-player Puzzle video game developed by Monsters, Inc. and published by Enhance, Inc. for PlayStation. The game applies the core Tetris gameplay, where the player attempts to place tetrominoes in the playfield to complete the lines. There are up to thirty different stages, and each stage has its unique theme and music. A new Zone mechanic will let the player place several blocks of different shapes at once, which enables them to clear-cut over sixteen lines together. The player is capable of clearing up to twenty lines. The game features a meta-game leveling system that offers new challenges for players as they proceed. It offers similar gameplay to the original game, but with modern graphics, music, and themes. The game amplifies the magical feeling covering the player with fantastic, 3D worlds that react and evolve based on how the player plays.
