Tales of the Abyss is a Role-playing, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Namco Bandai Games for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo 3DS. It is the eighth installment in the series of Tales video game and takes place in the fantasy world. The plot of the game revolves around Luke Fon Fabre, a swordsman whose life turns upside down when he becomes the target of the military-religious, known as the Order of Lorelei, who believe the player to be the key to a prophecy. The player with his companions must struggle to find out the truth and the mystery of his birth, as well as uncover the Score’s secrets, the prophecy that has bound the actions of the humanity. The gameplay is similar to its predecessor, where the player can defend, attack, and perform a skill with multiple functions like using the items or commanding the force to perform actions.
