Chessmaster: The Art of Learning is a Board, Turn-based, Strategy, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation and Nintendo DS platforms. The game follows the chess rules and introduces eight national chess champions and two martial arts world champions. You must select your team and start playing the game in the turn-based system. The ultimate task is to eliminate the opposing team members using your turns and win the game. Before moving, you have to plan out your strategy and play your move carefully against another team. The player can store his performance rating and progress in the Player Profile feature and can learn about the chess by the international chess master named as Josh Waitzkin. The Single-player game has two modes such as Training mode and Ranked Play. In training mode, you can play against AI and can defeat it to show off your abilities. Masterpiece, Breaking the Lines, For My Fruit, etc. are prominent mini-games available in the game to enjoy.
