Super Stardust Delta (known as Star Strike Delta in Japan) is a Single-player Shoot ‘em up video game created by Housemarque and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game acts as the part in the series of Stardust game, and it comes with improved gameplay, enhanced graphics and smooth controls. During the gameplay, the player can control a starship orbiting the planet using the analogue sticks of the PlayStation Vista. In the game, the orbit of the planet serves as the playfield full of asteroids and foes for the player to destroy. In Arcade mode, there are five different planets available, and each planet comprises five phases. At the last stage of the planet, the player encounters a brutal boss. The starship is loaded with several weapons, temporary shield and a smart bomb. The player can increase his speed using the speed boost system to cover a longer distance in shorter time. The game lets the player shoot in multi-direction using the weapons and collect power-ups to gain advance shooting abilities.
