Super Robot Wars D developed and published by Banpresto, is a Tactical Role-playing video game available to play on Game Boy Advance. The game supports only Single-player mode, and it serves as an entry in the franchise of Super Robot Wars. However, the game appeared as the fourth main installment on the Game Boy Advance system. It takes place in the post-apocalyptic world, where a massive nuclear explosion wipes out the majority of humankind. While other factions are struggling to do their unique activities, they are completely shocked to find out the planet Earth is sealed, having vanished from the face of the massive universe. During the gameplay, the protagonist and his party need to find out the reason behind this event, regarding the sealing of the Earth and find a way how to fend off it. Throughout the journey, the player will find himself engage against the antagonist named Ruina, a destructive race which is bent on seeing the rest of the universe in ruins.

The game uses the new cel-shaded graphics engine, responsible for replacing the darker graphics from the first title, and introduces an improved gameplay system. In the game, the player discovers the new card system, offering a set of cards and each card contains a special effect for the player, and most cards can double as the movement card. The plot of the game starts with a person called Snake, a young woman, along with two pilots named Roddy Louis and Dave Copeland, flying into the US illegally when FBI captures them. The game features lots of cool features, engaging gameplay, and brilliant mechanics.
