Like the previous game, the player commands the super granny in an epic quest to find out all of her cute missing kittens. In the new title, the player teams up with two of her friends named Margaret and Kamila. It offers a unique twist on some puzzles due to the abilities to switch between characters. According to the plot, the player has a huge variety of items like frying pan to score off the thugs, sneakers to increase the speed, and umbrella to assist her during falls. There are over 160 challenging levels spread across six different lands. As the game advances, other features, levels and content will be unlocked to enjoy. There is a built-in level editor available, which the player uses to create and share the levels of his own with his friends. Rainbow Islands Revolution is a Side-scroll, Platform and Single-player video game developed by Marvelous Entertainment and published by Taito Corporation for Nintendo DS. Unlike the original title, the playable character named as Bub, who rides in a bubble and the player must control him with the stylus to draw rainbows with it as well. In the game, the player must control the character across the screen using the stylus and contact with foes and dangerous obstacles such as spikes, causing the player to lose his life. The player loses a life and must start the game from the beginning position when all hearts have been lost. The rainbow that the player draw across the screen serves as the barrier through which the foes can’t cross. To kill the enemies, the player must draw the rainbow over the enemy. During the game, the player can tap the drawn rainbow to fall, removing the enemies that lie below. The player can also draw individual shapes which create rainbows with amazing effects.
