Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission offers a perfect mix of Puzzle and Strategy game elements published by Namco Bandai Entertainment. The game brings multiplayer mode to players, supporting up to six players. It welcomes the player to Hero Town, an alternate reality where the most popular Dragon Ball card game forms the entertainment. In the game, the player has a chance to create his avatar and follow his epic journey to become the master of Super Dragon Ball Heroes. The player has to obtain the energy required to lock-free a dimensional portal and make progress. Some levels require the player to accumulate more energy to open the portal. After the portal is open, the player with a limited amount of time must enter it. If the player fails to do so, it will cause the player to lose a life, and he must restart.
The player has to use one button for attack and jump. The character can also climb walls and poles or hang onto certain kinds of ledges. The player performs backward flip jumps by doing a normal jump and pressing the pad in the opposite direction of the character.
