During the gameplay, the main objective of the player is to rescue the alien captives and by entering the legendary Area 51. While exploring the world, the player controls the character from the third-person perspective.
The player can use a stealth approach to deceive the guards and earns freedom for the captured aliens by battling against the enemies. Five different stages are there for the player where each stage has different gameplay. The player can control a UFO during the battle to destroy the bases of the foes.
UFO has a limited power to stay in the air, and if that power runs out, the UFO will get down results in the death of the character. A player can regain lost health by grabbing all the collectibles in the playfield. The stamina of the player gets lower as the enemy hits the character. Fearing global devastation, the government decides to organize special teams of remaining military personnel, and the protagonist gets called upon. The players are tasked to get into the character of the protagonist, act as the team member of one of the teams of individual units, get into many different missions and eliminate the specimen to save the city of London. Because of being a Sci-fi and FPS video game, Killing Floor offers various types of weapons and allows the players to use them while combating against the enemies. The multiplayer co-op mode allows the players to enjoy being part of an online team on a local network and enjoy playing the game with friends.
