Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II is an Action, First-person Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game published and developed by LucasArts. The game takes place in the universe of Star Wars and it serves as the sequel to Star Wars: Dark Forces, released in 1995. The plot revolves around the protagonist named as Kyle Katarn, who appeared in Dark Forces. According to the story, the father of the protagonist has been killed by the Dark Jedi and the game revolves around the struggle of the protagonist to locate the Valley and the murderer of his father. The game offers improved mechanics, gameplay, and include new techniques over its predecessor. The player can take on the role of the protagonist and he can explore the landscape from a third-person perspective. It comprises up to 21 levels and each level has a set of objectives which the player has to complete before being able to move to the next stage. Three types of force powers available such as Dark, Light and Neutral. Up to eight players can join each other in a single game on a local area network to compete against each other.
