SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars is a perfect mix of Role-playing and Real-time Strategy gameplay elements, developed by Phenomic and published by JoWooD production. The game has both Single-player and Multiplayer modes, serving as the 2nd installment in the series of SpellForce video game. Three downloadable content packs were released for this game with lots of modifications and new content. Similar to that of the first title, the game intends the player to command the main character and his team of heroes in forging alliances. During the game, the characters can be armed with weapons and items like in other RPGs. Additionally, the player can control armies from three different factions that enable to erect structures and collect resources from commanding them to advance. The game introduces a campaign that can be played either in single-player or via online mode with up to three players. A skirmish feature lets the player battle against real players or AI outside the campaign to earn more points. There are different modes such as Campaign, Skirmish, Free Play, Co-op, and more.
