During the game, the player can perform two special moves such as Screw Bomb and Dynamite Punch to take down waves of enemies to earn extra points. The player can traverse through five different stages, and battle foes ranged from ruffians to aliens. The health gauges of the player and enemies are displayed on the screen, and the player can refill his health after receiving damage by gathering power-ups. The storyline of the game throws the player in the role of a police officer and takes in the streets of New York City. It takes place three weeks before Christmas while the city is speedily being infected with a strange virus that transforms its population into ravaging, a type of blood-thirsty zombie. The blood of the player contains a cure, which can be used in treatment of 1% of the population. The player equips with two weapons such as a primary weapon and a viral gun. The main job of the player is to damage enemies until their health drops to zero. During the fight, the player uses the viral gun on enemies, slaughtering the foes.
